Ft. St. James has been given two grants from the Province for two different projects.

One grant is for  $319 thousand dollars for the Murray RIdge Ski Area Redevelopment project.  That project will see the ski area upgrade its water supply,  upgrade the  lodge, the trails, purchase of a groomer, and construction of a gazebo on the  higher  reaches of the mountain.  The dollars provided by the Province represent about half of the overall  costs of the upgrades.  The project is aimed at not only improving the site for skiing but  increasing its  use for mountain hiking.

The other  grant is $110 thousand dollars for  the development of a Spirit Square.  The square will be developed on Stuart Drive near the commercial  core of Ft. St. James overlooking Stuart Lake.  It will include landscaping,  historical photo displays,  lighting as well as improvements to the existing cenotaph and workers' memorial site.

Make the Fort Spirit Square look the same as the one at the PG jail so the regulars know what it is. We seem to need a lot of these Healing Circles and squares, I can't fiqure out why they don't just stop hurting themselves? Bored or what?
I think you missed the boat on this one Yama. I think they meant spirit as in mood, not in a spiritual sense.

Glad to see the Ridge is getting some work done. It really is an under rated ski hill.
