Earlier this week, workers removed all signs that the "Brick" had ever occupied 1303 Third Avenue (photo Opinion250 staff)

One of the owners of the building that used to be occupied by the Brick, will neither confirm nor deny rumours about the plans for that building on Third Avenue in Prince George.

“Some of the rumours  make me laugh” says Mike Emri  of the Emri Group, “I got a call  a couple of weeks ago from someone  saying  he didn’t know the Farmers market was going to be located in the basement of that building and I said,  gee  I didn’t know either.”

The buzz in the community is that the main floor will be renovated, and a new furniture store will be moving in. There is also talk a new deal has been signed with Liquidation World which leases the upstairs of the building.

Mike Emri is staying quiet “I won’t discount anything that is being said, nor will I confirm it, but I will say  there  will be an announcement likely late next week.”

The Brick vacated the Third Avenue building this week when it moved to its new facility in the centre at  Highway 16 West at Ferry Avenue.

There are some great deals to be had at Liquidation World, but the cleanliness of the store leave much to be desired.

It's a mess most of the time. Maintenance and upkeep seems lacking. In fact, the upstairs of the Brick seems to be completely negligected.

I wonder what the Fire Marshall and the Building Inspectors have to say about it? Chester
When did "not saying anything" become news??
Slow news day - CN didn't have any derailments overnight I guess.
Something to do with a cat I think.
