WOW What a Light Show!!!

LIghtning lit up the sky in the north end of Prince George ( photos Opinion250staff)

Prince George RCMP and the fire Department have been hopping this evening, as lightning has hit several sites in the region.

So far no word on any major damage or injuries, but Mother Nature has put on one major light show!

Still going on at 10:30 PM...best storm I've seen for years here!

I watched it while in a tin canoe with an aluminum paddle floating down the river. With the storm chasing me down I tried to wait it out, but eventually abandoned ship. I'll have to go back for it in the next couple of days.

Freaken Wilkons Park boat launch would have come in handy....
