YRB workers are back to work today having ratified a new collective agreement with the Prince George and Nechako operations.
The BCGEU members had been on strike since the 23rd of May.
The new contract is a five yar deal that provides salary increases in each year of the package, and like the other contracts recently ratified with other road maintenance companies, the deal includes sick benefits, auxiliary recall provisions, auxiliary wage rates and job postings.
There are still 4 other maintenance crews which have yet to settle. That includes 70 YRB workers in the North Peace, and 30 workers employed by Caribou Road Services South in the South Peace.
