Not happy with the Electoral Boundaries Commission's preliminary report?

The City of Prince George is still  collecting  signatures.  At Wednesday ‘s rally (which preceded the  public hearing held by the Electoral Boundaries Commission)  those in attendance were invited to sign  the resolution passed  by the Council of the City of Prince George.  That resolution says  the City does not support the recommendations as  presented by the Electoral Boundaries Commission.

312 people signed their names to that resolution at the rally.

Christine Russell, the City’s communications manager says people can still sign on to that resolution.  They can sign a copy at City Hall during regular business hours.

The City of Quesnel has already made  a presentation to the  Electoral Boundaries Commission and will examine the matter again on Monday at its  Council meeting. That City is also considering starting a petition  for organizations and residents to sign voicing their displeasure with the  preliminary report from the  Electoral Boundaries Commission.
