It will be five years in jail for Wayne Victor Willier.  He  entered a guilty  plea to three charges  related to  a kidnapping and fatal vehicle crash on Queensway in Prince George  in early August.

That is the crash which  claimed the life of  passenger  Jeannette Quinn, and  the discovery of the  vehicle's owner in the trunk.

The vehicle  sped off  when police  tried to have  it pull over,  it  slammed into a tree   in the front yard of a Queensway  residence before coming to rest on the  roadway.

Initially charged with  extortion, utering threats, assault with a weapon, robbery, assault causing  bodily harm and kidnapping, Willier  entered a plea of guilty to  the extortion, robbery  and kidnapping charges.  The other counts  were stayed.

Co-accused, Shila Ann Glaim  will appear in court tomorrow.

That was pretty fast justice! What's the matter, the guy doesn't have any money or connections?
Five years, which in Canada means probably about 1 or 2 years max. Not bad for killing someone, kidnapping, robbery, extortion, and God knows what else. It would be nice to say "goodbye" to this fine outstanding citizen for many many years.
Yeah but the one who got killed was in on the crime too......so la ti da.
Let this be a lesson, eh? Crime doesn't pay.
I am encouraged at the expediency that this case was dealt with. Congratulations to everyone responsible. Well done. Chester
