Man Attacked, Sent to Hospital

Prince George -  A 40 year old man is in hospital with significant head injuries  after being attacked late this afternoon. 

Prince George RCMP say the  man was walking in the alley behind the Astoria Pub between 2nd and 3rd Avenue  around 5:00  when he was jumped.

Witnesses say  the man was jumped by two  caucasian males who had been driving a white pickup truck.  Witnesses say the attack appeared to have been unprovoked.

The investigation is on going.  ANyone with information   about this incident is asked to contact  the RCMP.
