Hundreds of motorcyle riders  turn out for Annual Toy Run in Prince George

Organizers of the 26th Annual Toy Run in Prince George, expected between 500 and 600 motorcycles to take part in today’s event.

Certainly as Opinion 250 was taking these pictures at the parking lot of the CN Centre, riders continued to arrive at the site.

The annual event collects toys for children who might not otherwise get a gift for Christmas, it also  collects food for the food bank, and cash donations.

The  ride is not only an opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to  give to charity, the event   is an excellent opportunity  for the public to see some of the  finest  motorcycles in the region.

There are classics,  like the Triumph at left  which gave this  Teddy a ride,

or the Harley  with the sidecar at right  which  was the ride for “Santa”.
