Prince George, B.C. -  One of two men arrested by Prince George  RCMP after a high speed chase this week,  has been remanded for sentencing until November 27th.
The chase involved three police dogs, an RCMP aircraft, and the highway patrol   who were in pursuit of a flat deck one ton  Ford Truck.
Kelly Michael Richet pleaded guilty and  has been  released  until that date on a $5,000 dollar recognizance.
Police took up the chase after a one ton flat bed truck was stolen in Prince George, it was then observed in a theft of two watercraft in the Bear Lake area. Police lost the vehicle for a time until a driver identified a truck driving at high speeds down the North Fraser Road.
Two men were arrested on the Hansard Bridge (which crosses the Fraser River near Sinclair Mills) after a spike belt blew out all six tires on the truck.

The pair received minor injuries when the vehicle went into the ditch.

Included in items received from the truck was a wallet belonging to the Rossland Search and Rescue. Police also found a dirt bike on the rear of the truck and the two water craft where recovered on a forest road leading off the North Fraser Road.

Let me see: Theft of the truck, two watercraft, a wallet and a dirt bike, dangerous driving, evading arrest - and all he had to plead guilty to was the high speed chase?

Doesn't make sense!
