Parliament is back in session next week, and there are plenty of predictions about the potential for a fall election.

If recent “announcements” are any indication, the Stephen Harper Government is taking out some added insurance.

In Prince George, there have been announcements of funding for the Cameron Street Bridge and the Airport.   Then there is the planned announcement later today that will set some dollars for “Service Canada”.  That announcement will be detailed at 2:00 this afternoon, just a few hours before  the Federal government dishes out some funding in Vanderhoof for municipal infrastructure.

Yesterday, there were two  announcements  in the region with  just over a million for the upgrade to the water system in  Alexis Creek,  nearly  half a million more  on the storm water system in Williams Lake.

No money for facilities to deal with our ageing populaton which is a demographic fact.
Nobody seems to want to comment on the Jubilee Lodge situation including Ben.
I have written letters to George Abbott, Minister of Health as well as Pat Bell and Jay Hill. I have had nothing in return.
My only hope is that I die quickly, in my own home, since there will be inferior care from the government due to a lack of facilities.
Of those people I have mentioned, have any of them toured Jubilee Lodge or Simon Fraser?
