Two men are in custody after a man  contacted Prince George RCMP  to say he had been assaulted.

The victim says he was confronted  in the VLA area of  Prince George by  two  men  just after 9:00 this morning.  The  two  were concerned about an alleged  altercation involving the  victim and an associate of the armed man. The victim was hit in the mouth  with a pistol.

Police  arrived on the scene and  got involved in a foot chase with  a  male who was  fleeing the scene. The  male was  apprehended without incident.  A second male was arrested at the scene.  A loaded pistol was recovered nearby and both  males are in custody.

Police believe this was a retaliatory attack.

Another day in the Violent Living Area.
Shouldn't that pistol be unloaded, with a trigger lock , secured in a case when out in public? Pass a law. Obviously the one we have now does not work.
