Dean McCutcheon  places the landscaping bricks  in the  circle surrounding the mosaic wall  at the Community Foundation Park at the corner of 7th and Dominion  Streets in Prince George.

The  changes to the park should be complete by this weekend,   The  changes  involved the removal of the fountain, and tearing down the east curved wall.

As the diagram at right shows, the  new area will feature three benches  opposite the  mosaic wall.  

The park had become victim to  pranksters in the past who  dumped  soap in the fountain and there were some who used it as a urinal.

The curved walls also  provided "hidden" spaces where any  of a number of illegal activities took place.
