PACHA Sets Date For Symposium

Prince George, B.C. - PACHA, the People's Action Committee for Healthy Air has  set Saturday, the second of February  as the day  for a day long symposium  on  improving air quality.
The City of Prince George has contributed some money towards the day long event which will feature  Northern Interior Health, with the latest research  Pm2.5  while the keynote address will be given by Mark Bekkering.
Bekkering is the Acting Manager Environmental  Planning and Support for Toronto's Environment Office.  He wil present "Partnering  to Successfully Improve Air Quality. "  as he shares the experiences of  the cities of Toronto and Hamilton.
PACHA says the symposium will be of interest to  anyone who is concerned about air quality in Prince George.  The one day event will include special sessions  to develop strategies  on how  the issues can be moved forward.
The symposium will take place at the Coast Inn  of the North.
