Crash Sends 5 to Hospital

Prince George, B.C. - Five people have been sent to hospital following a three vehicle crash  on Foothills Boulevard.

Witnesses say  around 8:30 this morning, there was a head on collision between two vehicles at  the intersection of Austin Road and Foothills and a third vehicle then became involved.

Police  say one person was trapped in a vehicle and the jaws of life had to be used to free the person.   Police say the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

 At the time of the crash, the roads were very slick and there was thick fog.
