Bio Fuel is the focus of a special forum set for UNBC Friday afternoon. The forum has been organized by the Economics program and the Economics Student Society and will examine the economic feasibility of various bioenergy schemes which plan to use mountain pine beetle wood and fibre.
In short, is it feasible or just a frenzy as the region looks for ways to salvage what ever dollars can be salvaged from the ravaged wood? (photo shows pellets made from beetle killed fibre, opinion250 archive)
