The Prince George Cougars slump has risen to 8 games, after a 5-1 loss to Spokane. On Saturday night in Spokane, the Cats could only muster 13 shots against the number one team in the US Division. The Chiefs opened the scoring, but Ty Wishart who has been the only bright spot for the Cougars this season responded with his 7th goal of the year. Wishart leads WHL defensemen with 26 points in 26 games. Spokane would take a 3-1 lead after the first and added singles in the second and third for the 5-1 final.
