The underdog Roughriders can thank the Lions for giving up the ball 5 times as the Riders would score 16 points on B.C. turnovers.
Saskatchewan would win the game 26 to 17.
The last time Saskatchewan was in the Grey Cup was 1997.  The last time the Riders won the Grey Cup was 1989.

I wish BC won, but kudos to the Riders and the people of Saskatchewan. I was in downtown Vancouver before the game and witnessed much cordiality between locals and the out of towners. Welcome.
Who would want an old tin cup that doesn't even look too nice?...Am I a sore loser??? maybe .... me and the other 53,000 people at the game, (Well except for those people wearing those green uniforms.)
I have to go now so I can find a corner and sulk...:-(
