The Prince George Spruce Kings defeated the best team in the Interior Conference, the Penticton Vees on Saturday night. Sunday afternoon they headed to Westside to play the Warriors. After a scoreless first frame, the Kings opened a 1-nothing lead in the second, on a goal by Jordy Christian. Westside would tie it before 40 minutes was finished. In the third the Warriors would score two goals to pick up the 3-1 victory. The Kings will face Salmon Arm at home on Thursday night.
