Glitter and Magical Feel at Festival of Trees
By 250 News
There may be fewer decorated trees in this year's rendition of the Festival of Trees, but there is no shortage of glitter, lights, items on which to place a silent auction bid, or try to win through a raffle.
Spirit of the North Foundation Director David Wharrie says there are some new items this year, a sit down dinner for the gala auction night, a larger kids craft area, a Friday coffee break for those who work throughout the week and don't have the opportunity to visit the Festival except on the weekend, a health clinic where kids can have their blood pressure checked, or hear their own heart beat. "The health clinic really links this event to what it's all about, and that is raising funds for Prince George Regional Hospital."
