Crash Closes Highway

Highway 16 is closed at Bednesti, west of Prince George as there has been a serious accident.

There are unconfirmed reports that five people have died in the crash.

It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved, but road conditions are believed to have been a factor.

Opinion 250 will provide an update as soon as more information is available

I understand where you're coming from Northman, though I have a different stretch of highway I would say that about. Sadly, you're probably very right. Folks just don't seem to understand that the asphalt isn't sticky this time of year.
