Fire Claims Ness Lake Home

While no damage estimate is available , it is expected to be extensive in a fire that ripped through a Ness lake Home earlier today at 10370 Lakeside Dr.

The fire broke out shortly before 3.30 this afternoon, and firemen from the pilot Mountain volunteer fire department faught the blaze.

Firemen were hampered in their efforts to quell the blaze because they had to return to the fire station some 22 kilometers away from the burning structure to obtain water.

The identity of the owners of the home is being withheld.
