Prince George Cougars Dana Tyrell and Ty Wishart are on their way home from the Canadian World Junior try-out camp in Calgary.
Both players were among the final 13 cut today.
Tyrell, (The Tampa Bay Lightning second round draft pick in 2007) still has a shot at playing for Canada next year. He currently leads the Cougars with 33 points in 30 games.
19 year old Wishart (San Jose first rounder in 2006) however, will not get another chance as this was his last year of eligibility. Both players will likely be back in the Cats line-up on Friday night when they host the Kamloops Blazers.
Team Canada will go after its fourth consecutive gold medal in the Czech Republic starting on Boxing Day.
