Highway 97 South Closed at Dunkley Lumber... Serious Accident

Highway 97 south has been closed southbound near Dunkley Lumber as a result of a serious accident. Police closed the highway shortly after 11.45 am Saturday morning .

Police say they can not say at this time how long the highway will be closed. The North District RCMP traffic analyst is on the scene to investigate the two vehicle accident. No other information is available. Police say the roads are extremely slippery and they caution people to stay off the highway.
