Icy Roads And Booze Cause Of Three City Accidents

Prince George, B.C. - Three accidents in the city today. A two vehicle crash at the intersection of 5th and Carney injured the driver of a VW. The accident involved a Dodge Ram Truck and the Volkswagen. The driver of the truck took off from the scene of the crash but was later found and it was determined he was under the influence of Alcohol.

Two other crashes occurred on the Hart, one at the intersection of Austin Road West and the Hart Highway at just before 4 pm. No injuries , but traffic was disrupted.

The second Hart crash took place at just before 6 p.m. when a Ford truck collided with a car that became wedged against a light standard at Birchwood Drive and the Hart Highway. No injuries in that crash as well but traffic was blocked and damage was extensive.
