Prince George, B.C. - No fuss,  take the bus.....yes, New Year’s Eve is   the chance for a free ride  on Prince George Transit.

Routes 11, 15, 16, 46, 55, 88, 89 and 90 will operate well into the early hours of the morning.  New Year’s Eve from until the end of the service (just before New Year’s Day) transit will operate free of charge for all residents in Prince George.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer free transit service on New Years Eve within Prince George and are especially pleased that the majority of our transit routes will operate on New Years Eve,” says Aidan Kelly, City Transit Analyst.

“It’s a great opportunity for non-regular transit users to leave their personal vehicle at home for the evening and try out the system free of charge,” says Kelly.

Alcohol is NOT permitted on Prince George Transit buses.

Between this, the Keys Please and Operation Red Nose, they will get you and your car home for a small donation, even a dollar, there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to be impaired and driving. And if you are to impatient to wait for a ride, walk or stay sober.
The person you kill might be me or my friend.
I am toying with the idea of touring the City gratis. Anyone want to join me?
