Sprucing Up the Dikes

Prince George, B.C. - Although  the sump pumps in the basements of  Del Haven homes have been working overtime over the holidays, some resident wanted to  brighten up the look of the gabion dikes.

Silk  flowers have been  placed in the snow  that caps the gabion dike along  the edge of  the Nechako River at Del Haven, making a dreary scene just a little  prettier.
