2nd Think Asia Workshop Set

Prince George, B.C. - For the second time in less than a year, there will be a three hour workshop on how to " “Think Asia – China 2008” .
The workshop set for the 18th of this month at the Civic Centre, is being sponsored by Export Prince George (Initiatives Prince George) and the Ministry of Economic Development.
Developed by the BC Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat, this workshop focuses on the China opportunity in 2008, where the Province of British Columbia will have a strong presence at the “British Columbia – Canada Pavilion in Beijing, China.”
This workshop covers four themes related to doing business in China and the upcoming Beijing trade show opportunities:
(1) The Think Asia – China 2008 seminar is presented by Jay Silverberg and highlights the background and tools on doing business in China;
(2) The management team of the BC-Canada Pavilion will discuss the opportunities and requirements for attendees of the Pavilion programs and delegation leaders;
(3) Initiatives Prince George will highlight to businesses, agency/community leaders and special guests how to participate in the Prince George delegation traveling to Beijing from June 13-20, 2008;
(4) David McWalters, the President of L&M Engineering, will share his recent business travel experiences in mainland China and highlight why small business owners should consider attending the Prince George trade mission to Beijing.

Prince George will be taking this superb opportunity to showcase Northern BC to the world from June 16 through 20th, 2008 at the Bejing Olympic and Paralympic Games using the BC-Canada Pavilion programs and services, as well as building on our current relationships in the Chinese marketplace.”

The free workshop runs from 1-4 on Friday the 18th at the Civic Centre.
