Shooting Leads to Grow Op Discovery

Prince George, B.C. - Prince George RCMP say their investigation into the shooting  on Norwood Street last evening  has lead to the discovery of a small  marijuana grow operation in that home.

A dozen  mature marijuana plants,  several clones and several kilos of wet marijuana were seized during the search.  The investigation continues.

Three males arrested in connection with the shooting are  still in police custody and are to appear before a Justice of the Peace  this afternoon.

The good news.... the dog that was  shot in the attack  has been treated and is expected to make a full recovery.

Meantime, the  20 year old who was shot  on January 2nd just before midnight  in a V ictoria Street residence,   remains in  serious condition. Doctors are waiting for the 20 year old to  stabilize before they attempt to remove the bullet.
