The Prince George have sent 19 year olds Ty Wishart and Evan Fuller plus a third round bantam selection in the 2008 bantam draft to the Moose Jaw Warriors. Coming to Prince George is 16 year old centre Justin Maylan, 18 year old right winger Brad Riege and a first bantam pick in the 2008 bantam draft. Wishart, the Cougars leading scorer is a first round pick of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks in 2006 and was the most sought after defenceman leading up to Thursday’s WHL trade deadline. Fuller was in his 4th season with the Cougars and is a 2006 draft pick of the Vancouver Canucks. Maylan was Moose Jaw’s first pick in the 2006 bantam draft and recently represented Team Pacific at the World Under 17 Challenge. The first round pick replaces the one the Cougars sent to Saskatoon last year in the Devin Setoguchi trade. The trade deadline falls on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. our time.

I don't think the issues is the players anymore.....this organization at the top needs to be "traded". From an owner who is doing it "for the boys and the love of the game" to a general manager who isn't abale to put a winner together...move on Brodsky!!
WATCH THE PLACE FILL UP AND WATCH THE TEAM START WINNING. THIS WOULD HAPPEN IF THE TEAM WERE SOLD TO LOCALS OR YOUNG NHL'RS. IT'S ALL ATTITUDE. THE PLAYERS SEEM TO BE HAPPY WHEN THEY COME HERE BUT SOON LOOSE THEIR WILL. LOOK IN THE MIRRIOR RICK--THERE'S YOUR PROBLEM. SELL! SELL! SELL! BEFORE THERE IS NOTHING TO SELL. WHL WON'T LET YOU MOVE IF THERE IS SUPPORT AND THERE IS LOTS OF SUPPORT IF THE TEAM HAD A NEW OWNER. IT'S YOU THAT THE FANS DON'T LIKE,NOT THE TEAM.
You need to turn off your caps lock.
I agree Giterdun and opion1
but had I said that.......
actually I have and been hard slammed for it...
but I got your backs....
The thing is BCRacer, all you do is call them losers. You aren't constructive. We get it you don't like the Cougars, move on.
I think its time to peel away the facade about this trade. Wishart and Fuller are glad to be leaving.
A good friend of mine billets for the cougars. My friend treats their player like gold. As a result, many of the other cougars come over for hearty, nutritious suppers and are made to feel like they are in a home, not merely a place to live.
I have heard stories of other billets feeding their charges a steady diet of pizza pops for dinner and actually placing pad locks on their fridges. Is this any way to treat a young athelete who needs proper nutrition?
My good friend also tells me that none of the players respect the way they are treated by their coach, who according to them can't cut it in the WHL and is a friend of the Brodsky's.
On a final note, the players feel that they are not treated well at all by the owners. For example: The vancouver giants gave all their players nice watches. What did the cougars get? Little backpacks barely suitable for a grade schooler. I am not making this stuff up - its right from the boys themselves.

I'm no sports psychologist but when your a young impressionable athelete constantly receiving negative rienforcement you don't have to look far to explain why the team isn't performing up to snuff.
