New Medical Health Officer for Northern Health

        Prince George, B.C. -    Northern Health has  recruited a Medical Health officer to  take over the job  that  used to be  done by Dr. Lorna Medd.

Medd  moved to  Vancouver Island  at the  end of the summer to take on  some  new challenges.  The  person who will  take over  her post at Northern Health is Dr. William Osei.  ( Osei in photo at right, photo courtesy Northern Health)

He moved here from Regina, and had been with the Center for Disease Control.  He had previously lived in B.C.  and is happy to  have the opportunity to return.  Osei says his priorities are the health of seniors, children and youth.
