Andyfreeze!!!! The rug has been lifted!!!
:)
Hopefully Heidi, but I won't break out the bubbly just yet!
I hope he rots in jail for a while.

The houston guy got off scott free, at least this one even if not tossed behind bars, is not walking away as easy laughing.

I still get mad when i think about poor Ian.

No one can believe he shot him in the BACK of the head, in self defense.
If they buy that, then i am the pope.
I would like to think that with all this new found honesty within the RCMP,that the Ian Bush case may not be quite over yet.
Unforunately,I am probably wrong about that.
By allowing Ian's case fade into obscurity,we play right into the hands of those who would prefer that the issue disappear forever.
Public opinion and pressure had a lot to do with the St. Arnaud case getting to where it is today.
Keep the pressure on!
Yes, I still have hope for the Ian Bush case. You know just when you think it's over and the case has been forgotten it comes up again. These officers involved in wrong doings will always have to look over their shoulders until the day they die. One little slip up and we pounce. I met an amazing man on facebook who's from West Midlands. Talk about keeping pressure on...this guy can do it :) I'll send him Ian's story right now and see if he will post it.
Hey Andyfreeze have you noticed all the clips on youtube.com about Ian?
There is one man who posts on youtube who I think has some of the best clips. His screen name is mike6291. He is in law enforcement, a computer tech., pilot.
He has along with others posted lots on youtube about Ian. mike6291 has also done clips on other cases. If you click on his name it brings up info about him and in that info he has a website you can go to.
Seen some of it Heidi, but thanks!
I guess he already has Ian's story :) but today he reposted 3 links on his site.
Heidi:

Last Summer, I e-mailed the Bush family about conducting a "process hearing" viz Section 507 of the Criminal Code. (I have participated in these) A family member took notice, but made no commitment. It's not too late for that. What would happen is: someone swears a private information before a JP and contacts Crown Counsel to advise them that a process is being sought. A court date is set in Provincial Court. The applicant may make verbal pleadings and question witnesses. The judge is supposed to consider evidence in light of sufficiency of proving that there are grounds for process to rise. If satisfied, a judge can order the accused to answer the complaint. Once a process arises, Crown Counsel may either register a charge or defer same to the Court. Unfortunately, I know of 4 cases - 1 plead by the Bush family attorney - where the Attorney General quashed process hearings.

An Ontario JP - they hold jurisdiction in that province - once raised process against then PM Mulroney. That was quashed by the degenerate Harris government and look at the results: the Schreiber affair is costing us tens of millions of dollars. We shelled out $2,000,000 to Mulroney after he weaseled out of the first complaint. The Globe and Mail viciously attacked anyone who questioned Mulroney's integrity.

As for the Bush family, with massive public support, AG Oppal - a skunk - would be deferred from obstructing justice. I believe that members of the Defence Bar would deliver pro bono service, even though process hearings are free of charge.

Ben Meisner didn't buy Koester's spew of his conduct during the 2 minutes and 8 seconds between his two calls to dispatch, the last being after the shooting of Ian Bush. The public wouldn't buy it either. And Sikh Oppal's credibility is in the toilet for his conduct during the Basi-Virk-Basi (Sikh-Sikh-Sikh) Liberal Party corruption case. Remember the persecution of Glen Clark?

Judge Bennett - the Basi-Virk worker - and Associate Justice Pat Dohm, of "Millard-Wells" Liberal Party wrist slap, allowed Clark to go to trial notwithstanding an exhonerating defence. During the process, Clark had to cease office, to the delight of the Sun-Province-Colonist triad.

IMO,the Basi/Virk issue is a prime example of a case that has been seriously ignored and delegated to the back burner?
I do have to wonder why that is,considering it is huge and has serious implications for many reasons.
It would appear that this case is being stalled for reasons unknown to the average joe, and it needs to find it's way back into the spotlight!
The reasons may not be as simple as we are being told.
Something is very "odd" about this whole affair, and there must be a reason it is taking so long to progress through the courts.
Out of sight, out of mind perhaps?
Does it has to do with the fact that someone is deliberatly stalling to prevent the facts from coming out?
What exactly are the political connections to the Premiers office?
Why are so many, so silent?
What is Oppals role in this as far as the reasons for the delays?
What did the RCMP screw up exactly, and how?
If in fact they actually did,or are they being discredited for a reason?
And lastly, why is the public not raising bloody hell over this farce?
If anyone has not bothered to read up on this one,you might want to do that soon, even though the information is very limited.
That in itself I also find "odd".
Something is not right here!
Why is the media allowing this to fade into the background?
That I find is totally bizarre in itself!
