Prince George, B.C. - The various groups that have been affected by the ice jam and flooding on the Nechako River  have joined forces.

John Brink says,  the new group is comprised of the 60 businesses along River Rd with 1,000 employees, the Nechako River Flood Victims Coalition, the Prince George Truckers Association and the Unites Steel Workers of America.

The aim of the newly expanded group is to focus attention to the problems being faced along the Nechako River as a result of the flooding.

Ed Mazur of the  Nechako River Flood Victims Coalition says  his own  group will continue its work, but by joining forces with  others,  "We will have a louder  voice."
