Opinion250 , A Must Read For A Lot Of People

We at Opinion250 thought you might want to know a few statistics of what has taken place in the past year at our Internet News site.

You very often hear the comment are we being heard? Well here are some statistics from 2007.

During 2007 we had 202,066 unique IP addresses visit, they read a total of 71,825,414 pages during the year and we had a total of 107,891,943 hits if you like to use that statistic.

Interestingly enough we have entered 2008 and already we are more than 125% ahead of our readership during the same period last year.

Thank you all for taking time to read us every day and thank you all for taking time to make your thoughts known.

You may wonder do your comments carry any weight? Well it’s was interesting to listen to a member of the staff of Premier Campbell that he reads the comments. He says "It gives me an idea of just what the people are thinking." He also said he reads us several times a day. "You people are so up to date on your news; you have to go to your site a few times a day just to keep up with the news. "

He made us proud at Opinion250, and I hope he makes you equally proud of what we all , you included, have accomplished. I do hope that 2008 will be even bigger and better.

Way to go. I personally quit my subscription to the citizen because this is so much better and up to date. I have sent the site addy to everyone I know who used to live here for the to keep up on local happenings. Thanks for the good work.

Yes, a voice for the people. All people. Glad google led me to this site a year ago as it lessened the anxiety and made me stronger because of Ben and Elaines dedication to finding the truth. I also send Opinion250 article links to people no matter where they live in the world. Love it!

In a time when the very fabric of our country is changing at such a rapid pace,it is nice to know that there is still somewhere to go that has not been bought off by big business and politics!
A great place to read all the news and discuss all the topics that so many would rather we didn't!
That is obvious,or we would find the same news distributed in the same manner by the media giants and the polticians!
We don't, and the reasons for that are obvious!

I too like to check a few times a day. Everyone is always wondering how I am so informed!...I found this site when the lumber industry started to 'whither the storm'. Thanks for keeping us so up to date!

A wonderful paper as you allow us to speak freely on this blog. We can state our views no matter how out of alignment those views are with the rest of the community. For instance I can, and do, state my utter disgust with and desire to see the logging industry die and you don't interfere in any way... and I thank you for it.

Old media carries too much baggage.

Only suggestion would be an email, or new RSS signal if there is a comment on a thread we have commented on.

Since Premier Campbell or his staff read Opinion 250.

I would like to read the comments and opinions from the loyal 250ers about the 2010 Olympics.

Maybe Opinion 250 could do a story about the Olympics.

A possible story line does anyone believe the government propaganda that the 2010 Olympics are on budget.

I too congratulate opinion 250 on its success. I was startled to see that someone in Campbell's office reads at all. History has shown us that the Campbell government does not listen to any experts on issues and only considers their opinions in their decisions. I now know they can read, so now the question is do they comprehend what they read? Anyways congrats on results that were hard earned and visionary for our times. Viva la free press (Not the corporate owned one either), who else will tell us the truth without corporate bias?

Opinion 250 is a great place to read the news as well as reading all the different opinions, not to mention adding a few comments of your own. I would rather be here than sitting at the table reading the Citizen. Way to go!

IMO Ben and Elaine are providing a valuable service to the community; with open dialogue being the basis of any true democracy. IMO every community should have a web site like opinion250 run by people so clearly dedicated to their community.

I have recently, just found this sight, and find myself checking it several times a day, I find it more informative, then any other source of media out there. Great job!!!!!!!!!!
