By-Election Process Underway

Prince George, B.C. – The Regional District of Fraser Fort George has appointed Tom Yates as the Electoral Officer for the by election for  Electoral Area F.

The by-election is necessary following the tragic death of Director Shelly Zenzen.

With the appointment of Yates, the by- election must now be held within 80 days. The date of the by-electionhas not yet been set.

Currently the   area is being represented by alternate Director, Wendy Robinson.    The person elected to the post will hold that position until the results of the fall election are known.
