Resource Forum Opens Today

Prince George, B.C. – The two day Natural Resource Forum and  Trade Show  gets underway at the  Prince George Civic Centre this morning.  The doors open at 8:30 and the first speaker will be the Chief Forester for B.C. Jim Snetsinger, who will talk about the future of forestry in the  province.

The second speaker will talk about biodiversity. The luncheon speaker today is  Colin Hansen, the Minister of  Economic Development and the Asia Pacific Initiative and the Olympics.

This evening there will be the Northern B.C.  Business and Technology Awards.

Tomorrow the forum will hear  about the  Galore Creek project,  look at the energy opportunities from  wood waste and the luncheon speaker will be Nark Warawa of the Ministry of the Environment.

If I'm not mistaken, Opinion250 is nominated for one of the Northern B.C. Business and Technology Awards.
How about next year they include an N.M.I (Not My Idea)award for the city council using the amphibious ice breaker?
