Emergency Services were activated at the Prince George Airport this afternoon, after a small plane radioed the control tower to say it had potential engine trouble.
Prince George Airport Authority Spokesperson, Todd Doherty, says the Cessna 150 had just taken off from the local airport, bound for Williams Lake with two people aboard.
Doherty says the aircraft radioed the traffic control tower at 1:10pm to say that a ’low oil pressure’ indicator light had come on.
Emergency crews were at the ready, but were able to stand down just minutes later when the small plane landed safely at 1:15pm.
