Pine Pass Open , Highway 16 Icy

Prince George - The snow slide in the Pine Pass has been cleared and traffic is now moving again in both directions.

Two other areas of concern in this region are noted below. Highway 16 in both directions from Crescent Spur to the Alberta Border , crews report that there is black ice and driving is difficult and highway leading into 5 to Tete Jaune., here again black ice and travel is not recommended.

The Coquihalla (no.5 ) remains closed due to snow slides , no time as to when it will open .

Peden Hill was a curling rink this morning... only thing missing was the painted rings.... we should be hosting the Briar !!
