Cougars Snap Losing Streaks

The Prince George Cougars managed to snap two streaks with one victory. The Cats went into Chilliwack having lost 7 consecutive games and 13 in a row on the road. The Cougars went up 2-1 after the first period and 4-2 after 40 minutes. In the third they were outscored two to one, but managed to hang on for the 5-4 win. Dana Tyrell scored the winning and captain Greg Gardner had a goal and two assists. The Cats now get ready to play a pair in the states starting with Portland on Monday afternoon, due to a holiday in the states. The puck drops at 2:00.
