A few are sighted at the Ranch on Friday nights in this city at a regular basis....I saw one at the Pumphouse last friday, but never at Ness Lake....
No you're wrong..most were ugly coyotes
How to survive a cougar encounter.

1)Dont make direct eye contact.

2)Dont make any eratic movements.

3)Shout and make noise ensure you are not easy prey.

4)Last but not least.. Slowwly back of the dance floor, and make for the bar exit!

-Sory folks old joke i couldnt resist..
Ha, ha. Good one.
Problem? Why is it a problem?

How many people died in car accidents around here in the last few years? Now how many people were attacked by Cougar, much less killed?

Beer kills far more people and yet nobody is calling for the makers of beer to be shot. Cougars just show their face and panic sets in, some calling for it to be shot.

Too much logic is never going to be a problem with humans, that's for sure.
ROFL Northman , hilarious. Beer mixed with cougars after midnight seems dangerous too!!
When I read the headline I thought.... "Oh not another problem with your hockey team".

:-)

My daughters school sent home a newsletter on friday (sorry didn't read it until this morning) that stated two cougars were seen in Hart Highlands. One on Wildwood and one on Highland Dr.

.....and very cute northman (hope there was no beer involved or you might trip backing off dance floor or think she's young and cute ;) )
What, Heidi, to be old is to be "not cute"?
Oh, just wait, you will be old some day tee hee.
No, it's just when you drink beer she might be a two and you'd think she were a 10...(another old joke) and 19-29 yr. olds would be able to call me a cougar right now. I use my crowsfeet for I.D. :( ...lol. Years just fly by. I'm trying to get this big foot out of my mouth. :)
Anyway, stay safe everyone. My neighbour also told me about spotting at least six cougars together on the hill coming up the Hart from the John Hart bridge. (not sure of the date).
