City of Prince George has discharged a land use contract that was on two properties owned by  School District 57  on Winnipeg between  Ross Crescent and  6th Avenue, property that wil be the home of the  new Duchess Park  Secondary School.

The change will also  put the sections of land  under the same  zoning.

The City has requested a trafffic  study, but the planning department  says that is only because the access  for buses has been changed.

The  discharge and rezoning means the construction of a new Duchess Park will not be impeded.

School Board Chair  Lyn Hall says the design for the new Duchess Park  could be ready  within 60 days.   Once the new school is built, the old one willbe torn down and the Board will make a decision about that section of property.

The  construction of a new school is expected to be complete in January of 2010.

Somewhat off topic!! You obviously couldn't wait for the Friday Free For All, so I would assume you were somewhat desperate for a response. I shall oblige. I'll preface by saying that I am an animal lover and have a very wonderful dog, my first dog. I don't hunt or fish, for killing one of natures wonders just doesn't bide well with me. Nonetheless I don't have any animosity unto others that chose to partake in these ventures. In many Asian cultures as with perhaps Muslim cultures this is considered normal to them. Cockfighting and dogfighting is more prevalent than you think, I don't condone it, but neither can I judge those that do.
Whoops, the editor has removed a statement by Truth to which I was responding and didn't get to finish. Perhaps the editor could yank mine also as there now is no relevance for the response. Honestly , this time I wouldn't appeal the decision.
know you are at the wrong party and can`t find the door to get out????
