Quesnel Barn Fire Claims Woman's Life

 Quesnel, B.C. - RCMP in Quesnel have not yet released the name of a woman who died in a barn fire on  Francess Road last evening

RCMP say  a barn with a loft was a blaze last evening,  Three occupants left the  loft area living quarters, but one  returned although  it isn’t known why.  That person  was feared to have died in the fire.

When investigators returned to the  scene during daylight hours, they found the remains of an adult woman in the burned  area of the barn.  She is believed to be a resident of Quesnel.  Her identity is not being released until next of kin have been notified.

Investigators have not yet  determined the cause of the fire,  but foul play is not suspected.

I have my doubts about someone walking back into a building on fire, the heat is unbelievable and it is not something you can just ignore and keep going.
So sad.
