The probe was launched late in '07 after there was word  tobacco and street drugs were being  taken into the facility.  The investigation lead to the  questioning of some employees, and two guards have offered to resign.

Who says nuthin' ever happens up here?
So this is supposed to be big news?
Pfffft almost easier getting it inside than on the street. Always has been, always will be.
The "...offered to resign." part is confusing. If they've broken any laws I would hope criminal charges are filed; however, if they're just offering to resign because they're incompetent perhaps it makes more sense.

Like I said, it's confusing.
More entrepreneurs shot down. Boy, it really is a tough economy. They said it would be a trying year for local businesses.
Staff resignations. Excuse me, they should not be allowed off site. Give them a room, at the Hilton!!
The person who accepted the resignations should be fired also. Resignations my a*s. How stupid do you think we are?
"PGRCC is now cheking to see if any inmates are in possession of the contraband, and if so, other steps will be taken."

It seems people calling for more than resignation cannot read.

Part of the 35%+ functional illiterate crowd?

;-)

I'm sure we all appreciate your superior intellect Owl and also your ability to read. Amazing.
