Prince George, B.C. -  A Douglas  Street resident  found  a male had entered his house through the kitchen window around 1:30 this morning and a second male was in the process of trying to enter.   When  suspect one was confronted,  he told the homeowner he was looking for a  friend, then  fled the scene.  Nothing was taken.

Break and enters kept Prince George RCMP  busy  last night.

Around 1:00 this morning a Ross Crescent resident woke to find her home had been broken in to.  The suspect had kicked in the back door and  took off with some  jewellery and cash.

There was also a break in   in the 2000 block of  Renwick Crescent,  The residnets  were sleeping, entry had been gained by kicking in the back door.  The suspect took off with  money, cigarettes and a phone.

The crime reduction team is working on the investigation  as police believe at least a couple of the break ins were committed by the same person.

"My friend broke into your house and I'm looking for him". Quick thinking and original for dramatic focused creation of words. Maybe one day he might be able to say instead, "My friend broke into your house and I'm looking for his body". Sounds better, but I will believe that statement when pigs fly and all the bleeding heart liberals are no longer in existence.
"Bleeding heart liberals" not quite sure what they are but I doubt they would condone breaking and entering a home
jail needs to be the worst place in the world to go to not a luxury resort.
from what i hear from some people who have been to jail besides not being able to leave that it was very pleasent
"My friend broke into your house and I'm looking for him"

Let's hope that if and when he eventually has his own house that he experiences nightly break-ins into his house by people who use the same identical line ""My friend broke into your house and I'm looking for him."

Then, of course he would be terribly upset, I am sure and demand that they be punished and locked up.
We had a recent breakin. They kicked in the basement door and got the suprise of their operation. The suite within was completely empty. And the door into our residence had been blocked. I couldnt help but laugh they left empty handed.

It was however a wakeup call. The next crook will be faced with a security systm which we didnt have. I is unbelievable how the B and E's have increased in the last few years. Seems all we have police for is to deal with banks and commercial crime.

hmm what are you wanting? Do u think a member should guard every home in this city? Its up to us to secure our homes not the RCMP.

B an E my place and the lil bastards will be begging for the RCMP.
"getajob" They dont break into your home when your there "to catch the little bastards" they come when your out getting groceries on saturday afternoon.

What the hell do I pay $2500.00 a year taxes for and now I can pay another $30.00 per month for a security system. Hmmm why should I live in a fortress. I dont expect the police to protect my home. I do expect them and the city to reduce overall crime.

Cheers
The week before Christmas we had a break and enter. Who ever broke in was only in the house for a few minutes as our alarm was activated. Nothing of value was taken and other than the door being destroyed no damage was done. We are thankfull for that but the fact that we were vilolated makes one angry and fearfull. This was probabley not added to the statistics of break and enters in Prince George because the Officer who attended said there was no sense in investigating. How many other crimes are treated the same??
