Prince George -   A man who was released from custody February 28th for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of stolen property was arrested again last night.

The 25 year old man was arrested after a routine check Tuesday in which what is believed to be a small amount of cocaine was discovered on him. He had been released on his own recognizance to appear in court on the Feb 28th charge.

At around the same time police picked up a 19 year old male after he was seen going through parked cars near the 7-11 on 20th.

Police arrested him only to discover that he was out of custody on a conditional sentence for a previous break and entry.

Police are asking anyone who was parked near the Carmel Inn on March 5th and have property missing from their vehicle to contact police.

Woohoo the first 'volunteer' for the new repeat offender program???
If it wasn't so damn sick,it would be actually be funny!!!
The cops must be tearing their hair out!!!
Where does it end?
When do our politicians and our courts start to get it?
Oh ya,right,we can't afford to put them all in jail....
Probably a crack addict, in which case, it is totally predictable behavior.
I wonder if anyone told the candy ass judges about the repeat offender program? Might be a good idea.
The Harper government ran on a *Law and Order* platform during the last election campaign which was supposed to *clean up* Canada and bring back some common sense to how we handle criminals after the have been apprehended, especially repeat offenders!

Obviously, NOTHING has changed - all the promises were the usual balderdash and empty rhetoric!

It is unbelievable! Or is it?
lock these guys (and gals) up abd throw the key away!!!
When a polititions mouth is moving he is either eating or lying.
Same excrement, different day, flimsy laws, dumb judges.
metalman.
chopadafingers
My question is who keeps letting them out? Is it the police who are only following the rules set out for them to follow? Or is it a lawyer or judge who is called to decide? Just what exactly is the problem and who is it up to to change it?

As far as Federal politicians go, it's the gutless, bleeding hearts in the opposition who keep holding back the necessary changes. Or the Senate. Chester
"As far as Federal politicians go, it's the gutless, bleeding hearts in the opposition who keep holding back the necessary changes. Or the Senate."

The gutless opposition has allowed all of Harper's legislation to pass. Otherwise we would have had an election quite a while ago.

As for the senate...it hasn't been too busy by all appearances.
I can't wait to catch some scumbag in the act. We won't have to worry about them getting back out.
Chester the cops have no say in letting them out. They only submit their evidence to the crown and recommend charges. It's up to the crown to lay charges or not.
It's usually the crown prosecutors and the judges that make deals with the defence lawyers that leads to the scum of our world being unleashed upon us over and over again.

NOTE TO THE SCUM OF THIS WORLD...
Come by and visit sometime ;)
The Harper government has brought in a few very minor changes to sentencing etc.but they HAVE been relatively minor.
They have done nothing to see that the laws we DO have are enforced, as opposed to being interpreted the way some bleeding heart judge thinks it they should be!
The Liberal opposition has no family jewels for forcing an election so Harper thinks he is safe... for now.
And the NDP?
Ya right.
What Harper appears to be missing is that as time goes on,there are more holes in his "I am the good guy" facade.
He is not as lily white as he would have us all believe and he can't hide that forever.
That ranks right up there with "which politician never told a lie?"
And let's not forget the provincial government crime fighters under Wally Oppal who is about the worst excuse for an Attorney General we have had in years.
There is more stinky crap going on in the B.C. courts relating to the government than I have seen in years, under the Campbell Liberals.
Obviously they are well aware of the fact that there is really very little we can do about it, and we WILL all forget at election time!
The ultimate mystery is STILL, why won't governemnts construct laws with teeth in them and make them stick?
