Hey Elaine and Ben....Just copy this article and reprint it every day. Things never change, the legal system dosen't want it to.
Five instances of kidnapping! That should be good for...let's see...five slaps (gentle ones) on the wrist!

Kidnapping isn't mentioned as one of the contemplated charges?

Unbelievable! Or, maybe not.
The hotel was the Ramada I was told...
Some people have thier nerve... What a welcome to our city for those folks.
Imagine the huge headlines in Canadian newspapers if a bunch of Canadian tourists had experienced a scary hijacking of this kind in a foreign country, like Mexico, for example!

How safe is the downtown and George Street in particular?

Scum.
There is no fear among criminals. No consequences, no accountability and no penalty'. I understand why they do whatever they want? We whine and cry and continue to allow this behavior. Really, whos fault is it? Chester
I guess this means the driver didn't get a tip.
Kidnapping? I doubt it. The passengers weren't held fer ransom. Now if those passengers were to hire a kidnapper to rid us of this clown, well that would be a delightful change of pace.
Just remembered this. Back in the old days they had a guy riding shotgun on the stagecoach. Maybe this might work. What's old is new again?
