Quesnel Seeks Citizen Of The Year

The Volunteer Citizen of the year Committee continues to seek nominations for the citizen of the year in Quesnel.
The deadline  for nominations is Monday April14, 2008.
Nominations forms can be picked up at the Quesnel Observer, or at City Hall,  or can be down loaded from the cities web site.
The awards dinner takes place on April 30th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall.

The nominees will be introduced to the public at the April 28th regular council meeting

Maybe they can select a youth with sport and community achievements exemplifying values if they have any in that town. Someone that the other youth can aspire towards through example rather than the typical politico class do gooder that makes people yawn and move on.
