Elderly Woman Mugged in Her Home

Prince George, BC - An elderly Norwood St resident was treated and released from hospital last night after a young woman knocked on her door and asked if she could use the phone. When the woman opened the door, two masked males entered the residence , striking her with a wrench. One of the suspects went into the bedroom seeking money and valuables while the other continued to attack the woman.
A police dog pursuit failed to pick up the track of the suspects who are described as between 14-18 years of age, dark hair, possibly native and a second suspect who is described as a native male.
Police remind people to be very cautious about letting strangers into their homes.
