Local Woman Heads College Of Dental Hygienists

Prince George-  Heather Mohr, a longtime faculty member in the dental hygiene program at the College of New Caledonia, has been elected Chair of the Board of the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia. Heather has been the northern representative since 2003.

 CNC has offered the dental hygiene program for 21 years. The program has been attracting students from throughout the province and beyond since its inception, and many graduates stay in Prince George and the surrounding region.

They need to include a Dentistry program in the North too! Smaller communities facing shortage of both hygenists and Dentists.

Maybe Heather Mohr will look into this.
