About time environment was added to their mandate. I just hope they're provided with the resources so the COs are able to deliver the service that is now required of them.
Will he be packing?
This is good move but what is REALLY needed is enough Conservation Officers to actually do the job that needs to be done.
They don't have that now and haven't had for a long time.
They cannot even begin to cover the area they would have to cover to do a decent job and they are the first ones who will tell you that!
We had barely enough officers at one time long ago,but once again, our government in all it wisdom decided that they were not needed and the job could be done with only a handful.
How clever they are!
I wish them luck because now they have an even bigger workload!
And yes,seamutt,he WILL be packing!
Good move.
