Hold Up At M and M Meats

Prince George, B.C. - The RCMP tracking dog is sniffing the trail left by an armed robber just before noon.

Police say a Caucasian male, about 5’6 entered the M&M Meat Shop on 8^th Avenue around 11:52 this morning . He pulled out a pair of scissors and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running south on Ahbau towards 10^th Avenue.

The suspect is described as wearing white gloves, a black bandana, dark clothing, and a light grey ball cap that was on backwards.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS

Oh I wish the clerk held up was able to turn this around, love to see a s!@#$head perp with a pair of scissors sticking out of his rear end, wrapped up in packing tape, waiting for the cops to come and rescue him! Of course then the clerk would be in prison and the thief awarded something for hardship.

The people who run M & M are great and I feel for them, falling victim again to our crime focused city. Enjoy your trip to China Mr. Mayor to get away from it all.

How come he didn't have to pay first? That would have protected the worker. Lots of knives in the store, they should practise throwing them.

At this rate, there will be a boom in the security business, shades of (parts of) certain U.S. cities, a security guard in every store, staff protected by lexan shields like in ticket booths. I really like the idea of locking the creeps in, like that foiled liquor store hold up on the week end. Even better, the idea someone put forth, keep the creep in the box for all to see. Give him all the water he wants though, can't be cruel. Just don't let him pee, hee hee.

In an old western movie they had a guard with a shotgun sitting on a chair on a raised platform in the bank. And riding shotgun on a stagecoaches too.. Ahhh, the old days.
